Planet Head Day 2024

The event takes place at the Fountain Square
of the Shopping Mall Galaxy in Szczecin on
15th June from 10am to 5pm. Its goal is to promote science and raise funds for charity.

The general setup consists of a Central Stage
and a transgenerational STEAM education game simulating tasks of astronauts and scientists on a mission through the solar system.

Solidarity with the cancer-sick

Charity Goal

Traditionally the charity goal is related to help for the cancer-sick. Earlier, Planet Head Day collected money to make possible the renovation of a clinic for cancer sick children in Szczecin. This year`s charity goal is to collect funds for the organization of a vacation for children suffering of cancer. The vacation is organized by the Association of Parents of Cancer Sick Children.

Become a PlanetHead

A person demonstrating solidarity with the cancer-sick by a donation, who gets publicly shaved and painted as a planet on the stage.

Become a partner

A company, university or person, who supports us with donations, in-kind donations or by becoming a patron of a planet station.

Become a volunteer

An adult or teenager who supports us with the preparation, organization and conduction or the postprocessing of the event.

On the stage

A challenge to raise awareness

With a moderator and supported by music, so-called PlanetHeads are publicly shaved by professional hairdressers and painted by students and volunteers in the colors of a planet of their choice.

Transgenerational STEAM education game

Planet missions for children

Universities design the planet missions (STEAM-Edu).
Teachers break them down to Primary level and translate them into 4 languages.
Students and High School pupils lead the station.
Primary pupils conduct the missions.
