We encourage our teenage pupils to participate in school competitions on the local, regional and national scale. In Poland, there are a lot of competitions organized by school authorities and third parties. In Polish public schools, pupils can increase their chances of progression at the school of their choice.
Our Polish and also our international pupils have achieved remarkable results, especially in language competitions.
Since 2017, SAIL Foundation has sponsored a yearly special music award at the international music competition of the German Buechsel Foundation, the Malchower Kirchenpreis. Hundreds of children and teenagers from Germany, Poland and the Baltics present their marvelous skills to a jury, including a representative from our foundation. Most of our awards went to primary school children. In 2022, the price went to a choir of a music school from Szczecin.
The first winner of our Music Award was Karolina S., then a teenage pianist. After the award, she received the chance to play on many concerts with up to 1000 visitors.
Meanwhile, she has started to study music at the University of Poznan.
Each nation has its specific cultural heritage and traditions. Holidays and festivities, which we know from our own environment, may look very different in other parts of the world. How much richer can be school life, how much more real is cultural understanding, if you get to know about the way how 30 different nations celebrate?
learn moreThe end-of-school year-performance is a very special and meaningful event for pupils, parents and teachers. After finalizing education challenges, competitions and exams in June, our pupils (and some teachers) use the opportunity to play and sing on the stage during a wonderful spectacle which we organize together with artists of the Opera on the Castle and supported by the orchestra.
