telc for studying in German language

Finishing high school in a non-German curriculum — especially in the final two years — usually requires learners, including German nationals, to present an approved German-language certificate when applying to universities in German-speaking countries. To provide one of the few qualifications officially recognised by universities, employers and institutions across the German-speaking world, SAIL has established an in-house telc Network School for holding exams in cooperation with the University of Łódź.

telc offers reliable proof of proficiency for those wishing to study, work, or live in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, giving our students and the wider community direct access to an accredited pathway into affordable higher education, professional careers, and confident everyday communication.

telc German Exams at SAIL – Overview

telc offers German-language exams from A1 to C2, enabling learners to document their progress at every stage. B1 and B2 are the levels most often needed for everyday life, living abroad, or entering the job market in German-speaking countries, while C1 is typically required for university admission. At SAIL, learners can access the full telc system, build skills step by step with the help of our large and experienced team of German language teachers and select the level that best fits their goals.

telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule

For students aiming to study at a university in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, the key qualification is telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule — one of the very few certificates officially recognised for academic admission. It confirms the advanced academic German skills needed to understand lectures, participate in seminars, and complete written assignments at university level. At SAIL, learners can receive expert preparation, and the examination itself is conducted on campus through our accredited telc Network School.
