Founded in 2004 by entrepreneurs with a background in international collaboration, the SAIL Foundation’s mission is to equip people for the challenges of an increasingly globalized, ecologically challenged and technology-driven world. Drawing on our established international network of private and public partners - including schools and universities in Europe and the USA - we have delivered STEAM education, cultural and community service projects for many years. Since 2021, the SAIL Foundation has focused on formal school and adult education. Our charitable, cultural and ecological projects are now integrated into the curricular and extracurricular activities of SAIL International School. In this way, students are introduced early on to the role of responsible global citizens.
Apart from legal representation and strategic development, the SAIL Foundation, as the governing body of the schools and related entities, serves as an administrative umbrella in all relevant matters - allowing educators and pedagogues to focus on their important work with both young and adult learners.
